VASCO: After taking charge of the Vasco Police Sation, Police Inspector Nolasco Raposo has listed out several priorities including elimination of drugs and prostitution from port town.
Speaking exclusively to Herald after taking charge of Vasco Police Station, Police Inspector  Raposo said that he has come to Vasco with a mission of effective policing and crime prevention.
Police Inspector Raposo said, “Though I have listed out many priorities, I have decided to give first priority to eliminate drugs and prostitution as the more and more youths are getting addicted to drug abuse and we need to curb the same completely. I would require citizens’ help in fulfilling my mission against drugs and prostitution. Though the police would start cracking down on drug peddlers, I would also request the citizens to be more vigilant and inform the police about any such suspicious activity and I assure that stringent action would be taken against those involved.”
