The Maina Curtorim police on Tuesday raided a bar and restaurant near the Chandor railway station and arrested five persons playing card gambling.
PI Sidhant Shirodkar informed that the police seized Rs 5500, besides gambling material from the bar during the raid.
The police has booked the five persons under Section 3 & 4 of the Goa Gambling Act.
Meanwhile, the accused arrested in the case of unnatural sex late Monday night has been remanded to three days police custody.
PI Shirodkar said though the medical reports of the victim boys have come negative, the police late Monday night arrested the accused.
