MARGAO: Bollywood stars Nana Patekar and former Miss World Diana Hayden on Friday called for harsh punishment for the Delhi gang rape accused, even as the former said women would play a pivotal role in society.
He along with the actress and former Miss World Diana Hayden were in the city here to inaugurate a national seminar on physiotherapy organized by School of Science, Mumbai. The seminar is being attended by a large number of delegates from both India and abroad.
Patekar also spoke about the forthcoming release of his documentary on 26/11.
Sharing her personal experiences, Hayden said educating a girl child would ensure educating an entire family.
