VALPOI: A 28-year-old resident of Velus-Sattari died in a road accident at Nagargao on Sunday. According to Valpoi Police, Sunil Chawan was proceeding on his scooter (GA-01-B-4439) when he lost control of the two-wheeler on a steep slope and rammed into a huge tree at Nagargao. Police said seriously injured Sunil was rushed to Community Health Centre Valpoi, where the doctor declared him dead on arrival. After conducting the panchanama, the body was sent to GMC Bambolim for post-mortem and police is investigating the case.
