VASCO: Stefanie Lucas on Saturday was declared unopposed panch member of Ward No. 2 of Chicalim Village Panchayat.
A group member of Chicalim Farmers Youth Club and an active youth from Chicalim village Lucas was declared unopposed panch of Ward No. 2.

Mormugao Mamlatdar Dhiren Banaulikar received the single nomination form of Lucas for the byelections on Saturday which was the last day for withdrawal.
Stefanie’S form was received and also managed to get cleared on scrutiny. Stefanie was later declared as the unopposed panch by the Mamlatdar. She expressed her willingness to undertake various works, which are needed under the panchayat jurisdiction.
