Three junior grade officers of the Goa Civil Services have been promoted on ad-hoc basis.
Under Secretary Health (I) Derrick Neto has been promoted and posted as Director (Admn) Directorate of Health Services.
Under Secretary Home (II) Siddhivinayak Naik has been appointed as the Director of Veterinary Services thereby relieving Sanjiv Gadkar of additional charge.
Dipak Desai, Chief Officer Canacona has been promoted and posted as additional inspector general of Prisons thereby reliving Meghanath Porab of additional charge.
The order issued by Joint Secretary Personnel (II) NP Signapurkar states that the above adhoc appointments shall be for a period of six months in the first instance.
The government has also promoted on ad hoc basis the following four junior grade officers in schedule II of the GCS.
Siddhi T Halarnkar, joint mamlatdar Tiswadi I, has been posted as the deputy director (admn) Water Resources Department.
Snehal P Naik, Joint Mamlatdar II Bicholim, has been posted as assistant commissioner of Commercial Taxes.
Vinayak P Volvilkar, Joint Mamlatdar I (Mormugao) has been appointed Special Land Acquisition Officer PWD.
Meghana V Shetgaonkar has been posted as Deputy Director (Admn) Agriculture department.
Meanwhile, the government has also transferred and posted the following junior grade officers. Assistant commissioner commercial taxes Madhura Naik as Chief Officer Mapusa Municipal Council reliving D M Redkar of additional charge.
VP Dangui, Dy Director (admn) Electricity Department has been posted as Under Secretary Home (II).
B S Kudalkar, Under Secretary (Ind and Labour), has been transferred and posted as under secretary Health (I) with additional charge of assistant director (adm) Craftmen Training.
Dy Director WRD (Admn) KV Signapurkar is transferred and posted as Dy Collector (Revenue) South with additional charge of Project officer DRDA, South.
Shiv Kumar, IAS – awaiting posting has been appointed deputy collector and SDM Canacona with additional charge of Chief Officer Canacona Municipal Council.
H A Ali, awaiting posting, transferred and posted as the deputy Director of Panchayats, South, Margao. Upasana Mazagaonkar, special land acquisition officer PWD, transferred and posted as the under secretary (industries & labour).
Meena Naik Goltekar, under secretary cum registrar, GSIC, will hold charge of Dy Registrar of Co-op Societies in addition to own duties.
Prashant P Shirodkar, CO Quepem Municipal will hold charge as the chief officer Cuncolim Municipal Council.
