Union Home Min leaves for Port Blair

PANJIM: After reinvigorating the BJP party cadre, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who had arrived in the State on Thursday, left Goa for Port Blair on Friday.

Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Union Minister of State (MoS) for Tourism Shripad Naik, Protocol Minister Mauvin Godinho, BJP Goa president Sadanand Shet Tanavade and BJP Goa organisational secretary Satish Dhond were present at the naval airport to greet Shah before his flight took off from Dabolim.

“I thank the Union Home Minister Amit Shah Ji, for his visit to the State of Goa and for fueling us with the motivation to continue the steadfast march towards progress and development,” said Sawant via Twitter on Friday.
