PONDA: Seven two-wheelers were damaged after a retaining wall came crashing down on the vehicles at Dhavli-Ponda late Sunday night.
According to reports, the retaining wall of a nearby residential complex came crashing and damaged seven two-wheelers out of the nine parked in the garage. PWD officials later visited the site for an inspection.
Residents informed that a contractor had recently undertaken work to install pavers at the other side of the retaining wall, but no rain water drainage was kept. Residents claimed that saturation of water at the other side of the retaining wall could have done the damage.
