MARGAO: Ravindra Bhavan chairman Damu Naik has said that bhavan will soon hold a theatre workshop for budding tiatr artists in the State.
During an interaction with newsmen after opening the Sea Shell workshp at the Ravindra Bhavan on Monday, Damu said that the theatre workshop would aim at tapping the talent of young artists and give them exposure on tiatr presentation at an early age. “The young budding artists will be trained to stage a tiatr at the theatre workshop. This would not only give them an exposure, but would help them bring out their talent”, he said.
Saying that tiatr art has a rich experience of over 100 years, Damu said this form of arts needs to be protected and promoted for the benefit of posterity.
Meanwhile, Damu said that the Sea Shell workshop would help talented artists to display their talent and mould them in churning out items which can be displayed for sale at the state-run emporiums across the state.
