It criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for failing to deliver on several promises, such as the retrieval of black money within 100 days and reduction of prices. It stated the government had pushed the burden of increasing prices on the public instead.
The members held placards and cheque books to mock Modi’s promise to put Rs 15 lakh in every Indian’s bank account after recovering the black money.
