Story: Isha (Vailanka Fernandes) is in love with Gerson (Brian Fernandes) but his younger brother, Clarence (Evaristo Rodrigues), has his eye on her and succeeds in manipulating her into marrying him. What transpires in the family after this?
Review:
Hitler (Tennyson Fernandes) is blessed with two sons, Gerson and Clarence. As he belongs to an aristocratic family, he cannot stand the thought of his elder son being in love with a poor girl, Isha and when he meets her at his house, where she is visiting with Gerson, he insults her.
As Clarence is dad’s boy, he takes the initiative of assisting his father in separating Gerson and Isha. He succeeds in poisoning her mind regarding Gerson’s fidelity to her.
Isha easily loses faith in her lover and agrees to marry Clarence. When Isha steps into Clarence’s house as his wife, she comes in close quarters with her dictatorial father-in-law.
Now, will Isha treat her father-in-law, who refuses to accept her as his daughter-in-law, with respect? Or will revenge follow for all the past insults? How does Gerson react to the situation? Will reconciliation follow in Hitler’s family?
Tennyson Fernandes’s tiatr, ‘Prachit’, dwells upon indifferences among members of the family, love, hatred, revenge and reunion. Although it carries a simple story, there are various developments that keep the story progressing to greater heights.
All the artistes have played their respective roles to perfection. Tennyson stands tall as the dictatorial father, with good command in speech and body language. Evaristo and Brian have ably assisted him as his two sons. Isha is articulate, initially with a soft tone and later, with harshness. Rosalina, Seby Fernandes, Succurina Fernandes, Antonio Godinho, Agusto Colaco have extended good support to the main cast.
In the comedy scenes, Egidio Fernandes as Jose Mari and Sibila Fernandes as Champakali entertain with their natural acts. They win accolades for some good laughter pills.
In the category of songs, Sibila Rodrigues, Darius Gonsalves, Demetrius Gonsalves, Domnic Cardozo, Malaika Vaz, Marina Vaz, Felix Vaz, Anrich Rodrigues, Richika Fernandes, Anushka Fernandes, Elina Fernandes, Anrich Rodrigues, Rosy Fernandes, Antonio Anacleto Godinho and Julios Cardozo entertain with some good songs, though group songs could have been more interactive.
