Story: With two different family backgrounds, Ethan (Janaya Picardo) falls in love with Charlotte (Cheryl Duarte). Will the elders agree and support the couple?
Review:
The story revolves around two families, namely Inkotiao Gomes (Inoskha Moraes), his wife Clara (Neychelle Vaz) and their only daughter Charlotte. The aged mother of Inkot, Carmen (Selima Gomes) resides with the family.
On the other hand, there is police inspector Peter Fernandes (Mansi Naik), his wife Esther (Ashwetha de Souza) and their only son Ethan.
While Inkot enjoys taking part in tiatrs and earns his living through art, Peter supports his family through his decent career. The two families are at loggerheads with each other due to the status in the society.
More trouble sets in when the news about the love affair between Charlotte and Ethan reach the guardians. Inkot extends his support to the lovebirds, but Ethan’s father is strict and refuses to move an inch.
Will the love affair progress or face turbulent times? How does the couple face the high tide against them? What is the end result?
‘Lok Kitem Mhuntolo?’ is a fund-raiser tiatr by the Carmel College, Nuvem, focusing on love relationship and the thought about what people will say which worries everyone. It is a fine presentation, with male characters enacted by the girl students.
Each of the artistes has played their respective roles with gusto and to perfection. Selima is witty as the aged woman. Inkot and Neychelle, Mansi and Ashwetha as guardians do justice to their characters. The other artistes have extended good support to the main cast.
As a comedienne, Inoshka Moraes is entertaining and captures hearts of the audience with her humorous dialogues and body language.
In the category of songs, Swizel and Megan step in with the opening song, followed by solos by Swizel Vaz, Joyson Faleiro, Agnelo Dias, Santan, Nerissa Cardozo and Glenis Mendonca. There is a duo and a trio by teenagers which are appealing. Nova, Nazareth and team have provided good live music to all the songs.
