BENAULIM: CAC Cansaulim outplayed Cuncolim Union 2-1 to storm into the quarter-finals of 27th Super Soccer inter- village football tournament played at St John the Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Saturday.
Domnic Soares for CAC Cansaulim and Daulat Dessai for Cuncolim Union were at their best on the fore front. The first half was barren half. Domnic Soares of CAC Cansaulim was in thick action and took the lead in the 40th minute making it 1-0. Daulat Dessai levelled terms for Cuncolim Union in the 47th minute.
Agnelo D’Souza scored the match winning goal making it 2-1 for CAC Cansaulim in the 50th minute.
