MARGAO (HR): Chief Minister Digambar Kamat has categorically denied that his escort jeep was involved in an accident near Fr Agnel Ashram Verna on Friday.
Kamat said the woman was injured following a collision between two two-wheelers, adding that the injured was later shifted by the convoy jeep to the Goa Medical College for treatment. “My convoy jeep was not involved in the accident. After the girl sustained injuries because of the collision between two two-wheelers, she was lifted to the GMC by the escort vehicle. There’s no question of my convoy jeep involved in the accident”, he said.
