Safety norms were flouted in building NIO lab: Fire audit
Fire risk assessment exercise conducted at the National Institute of Oceanography NIO), at Dona Paula, by the Fire Department, a day after a microbiology laboratory was engulfed in flames, has exposed severe safety lapses therein, in violation of Goa State Fire Force Rules.
