PANJIM: For three days straight, Goa has reported deaths in double digits. On Saturday, there were 10 deaths reported out of which 4 persons died within 24 hours of hospitalisation.

It was further reported that out of the 10 deceased, 8 of them had not taken their Covid vaccines. It may be recalled that on Thursday there were 15 deaths and on Friday there were 20 deaths.
On Saturday, the Directorate of Health Services (DHS) said that there were 50 new patients who were hospitalised while another 44 patients had been discharged from various hospitals. 4,790 people had sent their samples for testing in the last 24 hours. 1,169 persons who tested positive for Covid were placed under home isolation during the same period.
