Burglars struck again in the city here last night, decamping gold ornaments, besides cash from an Exide battery shop worth nearly Rs 1.60 lakh
Margao police said the miscreants effected entry by bending the shutter of the Escorts Enterprises with the help of a crow bar.
They are believed to have lifted two gold chain, four bangles, and two earrings, besides cash of Rs 56,000 from the shop.
The Margao police has registered a case of theft against unknown miscreants. Further investigations are on.
