These groups had earlier submitted their objections to the policy in writing to the Tourism Department and the gram sabha members supported their objections to the same.

These groups had earlier submitted their objections to the policy in writing to the Tourism Department and the gram sabha members supported their objections to the same.

Thereafter, the issue of haphazard parking by staff of starred hotels in the village was raised. The locals pointed out that these staff members do not park their vehicles on the roadside properly, which creates a massive inconvenience and traffic congestion to the public.

Responding to this, Sarpanch Dixon Vaz stated that he would hold a meeting with the management of all the hotels immediately.

It was also decided that the panchayat direct these hotels to arrange for parking of their staff in their respective hotel premises and not to occupy the roadside for parking.
