MAYEM: Hindu organisations affiliated to the National Hindu Movement (NHM) will demonstrate at Bicholim on January 5 at 4 pm to demand a ban on cow slaughter and gambling activities in the State.
The demonstration will also include the demand to grant Indian citizenship to Pakistani and Bangladeshi Hindus who have taken refuge in India. This is part of a nationwide demonstration organised by the NHM. Meanwhile, a vehicle rally of Sanatan sadhaks who have been acquitted in the Margao bomb blast case will take place before the demonstration on the same day at 3 pm and will start at Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue.
