PANJIM: The 56th Goa Liberation Day 2017 was celebrated at Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, St Inez. Director of Fire and Emergency Services Ashok Menon unfurled the National Flag and greeted all personnel of the department.
A Contingent of Goa Fire and Emergency Services participated in the 56th Goa Liberation Day Parade at Campal.
The Goa Fire and Emergency Service Platoon was commanded by Sushil Moraskar, Station Fire Officer.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar awarded the Chief Minister’s Fire Service Gold Medal for Meritorious service to Shrikrishna R Parrikar, Station Fire Officer, Namdev Gawas, Sub-Officer and Anandu Velip, leading fire fighter.
