‘Hurt many times, but never quit’: Valmiki Naik after taking charge as AAP Goa president

Newly appointed AAP Goa president Valmiki Naik has said that despite being hurt by the party on several occasions in the past, he never chose to quit. Reacting after taking charge, Naik stated that internal challenges were part of political life, but his commitment to the Aam Aadmi Party remained firm.

He also credited party chief Arvind Kejriwal for enabling the INDIA alliance to take shape at the national level, adding that in Goa, it was about deciding which party would take the lead. Naik’s remarks come at a crucial time for AAP in the state, following a series of internal exits and reshuffles.

The development follows the resignation of former Goa AAP president Adv Amit Palekar, who stepped down after being dropped from the post. Shrishrikrishna Parab, who was later appointed as working president, also resigned soon after. Against this backdrop, Naik’s statement signals an attempt to project stability and continuity within the party’s Goa unit.
