PANJIM: Following the saying that “law will be equal to all”, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said he will not spare even his son if found to be involved in any kind of corruption.
“Even if tomorrow I find that my son has done something illegal or is involved in corruption, I will not spare him too. He will face the strongest punishment like any other offender,” he said informing crowd that during his over less than two years governance the corruption in Delhi government administration has drastically reduced by almost 70-80 per cent.
“I am not saying that the corruption is zero. But yes, it has reduced by 70-80 per cent. During my first 49 days of governance in 2013, 36 officers were sent to jail for corruption. The trend continued when I took over again in 2014,” AAP leader claimed.
He recalled how in 2015 he had sacked his own minister Asim Ahmed, who was allegedly caught demanding Rs six lakh bribe. The case was handed over to CBI.
