A host of political leaders including Opposition Leader Manohar Parrikar and NCP MLA Mickky Pacheco joined hands with the National Highway Diversion Action Committee at an impressive meeting at the historic Lohia Maidan on Monday to demand dropping of the present National Highway alignment and scrapping of the toll fee structure.
The National Highway diversion action committee warned of an unprecedented agitation after November 24 if the House Committee fails to address the genuine demands of the people at the meeting scheduled on Wednesday.
