VASCO: An elderly pedestrian succumbed to injuries after he was knocked down by a taxi. According to Vasco police, Baburao Pawar (70) from Sancoale was knocked down by a taxi at Dabolim on Sunday night when he was crossing the road towards Umiya Quatro building, Dabolim. The taxi which knocked down Pawar was driven by one Rakesh Amar Puri (37). Pawar later died while undergoing treatment at GMC, Bambolim.
