Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s day-long visit to Goa has been cancelled for the time being as a mark of respect following the tragic plane accident that claimed the life of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.
AAP Goa President Valmiki Naik said the visit was originally planned for Chief Minister Mann to address Goans about the Punjab government’s recently launched healthcare scheme. However, in view of the tragic incident and the period of mourning, the programme has been called off.

Naik added that the Aam Aadmi Party stands in solidarity with the people of Maharashtra during this moment of grief, and further details regarding a rescheduled visit will be announced at a later date.
