Sarpanch Borkar gets bail

CORTALIM: Sancoale Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar, who was arrested on charges of accepting a bribe of Rs 75,000, was on Tuesday released by a court after three days of police custody.

The court ordered his release on condition of furnishing a surety and personal bond of Rs 1 lakh respectively.
Borkar has also been directed to visit the ACB office for two weeks, to stay out of of Sancoale village for two weeks and not to interfere with the complainant and witnesses.
