PONDA: Thirty-four-year-old Prashant Pundalik Tari from Shiroda died on the spot after he was hit by a four-wheeler on Wednesday.
According to police, Tari was sitting on his parked scooter by the roadside at Karay-Shiroda when he was hit by a four wheeler at around 9.30 pm.
He was left unattended to as nobody noticed him. But he was finally noticed and taken to Shiroda PHC, but the doctor on duty declared him brought dead. Police have registered a hit and run case.
It may be recalled that in an accident near Sanjivani Sugar Factory, Dharbandora, two Karnataka natives were killed on the spot after their two-wheeler was hit by an oncoming car.
