CURCHOREM: In less than 24 hours, Curchorem Police on Saturday arrested three persons in connection with the burglaries reported at the three shops located in the Curchorem main market.
The police identified the robbers with the help of CCTV footage from a private residence located nearby and arrested 20-year-old Jaganath Ganpath Vasulkar, his brother 19-year-old Subhash Ganpath Vasulkar from Bicholim, currently residing in a rented room at Mapusa and 19-year-old Salim Shaikh, native of Sangli in Maharashtra, presently residing in a rented room at Curchorem.

The Curchorem Merchants Association has requested the local MLA and the municipal authorities to immediately repair all the non-functional CCTV cameras in market at the earliest.
