I had been to the hospital, the only Goa government run medical college (GMC), but to my horror there were dogs having a party over garbage that was left open at the entrance of the Xray room/CT scan room also not far away from the operation theater. The place that is supposed to be most sterilized seemed to be most infested leading to many hospital acquired disease.
Our state Government is not even able to run one hospital and maintain standards even though we have all the necessary funding.
Health comes first then comes wealth. If they plan on saving the funds for other uses, the authorities allow such infestations to breed and feed openly at various spots what more diseases do the already ill patients would want to face.
